The challenge
Scorli is a consumer product, so it has to be simple to use, reliable and cheap to manufacture. The scoreboard is updated from a phone app, and the update must appear on the board immediately.
What we built
- Electronics and display: a display readable in daylight, powered by a battery.
- Wireless communication between the board and the phone.
- A mobile app for managing the game and the score.
- Preparation for production: a design suited to volume manufacturing.
The result
A complete product, from the electronics to the app, under one responsibility. The client didn't have to coordinate between a hardware vendor, a firmware vendor and an app developer.
