Roman Alperovich
Roman leads ProtoMakers with more than 15 years of experience in electronics and software development and over 200 completed projects. His specialty is exactly the link between the two: designing the circuit, laying out the PCB, writing the firmware that runs on it, and bringing all of it to a production line.
Most hard problems in electronic products sit on the boundary between hardware and software. Noise that looks like a bug, a bug that looks like a faulty component, timing that works on the bench and breaks in the field. When the same engineer knows both sides, these problems are found in hours, not weeks. There is no meeting where the hardware team and the software team try to prove whose fault it is.
Over the years, ProtoMakers projects have won competitions in Israel and abroad, including Calcalist, hub:raum, Fashion Fusion, Nokia and T-Mobile.
